Body Discovered Outside Of Bloomington Business

Bloomington Police found a man who died of a suspected overdose outside of a Bloomington business Wednesday.
Police were alerted by a business owner of a man crouched behind a stack of concrete blocks at 10:32 a.m.
Police say a man doing yard work noticed the man hiding, crouched behind a stack of concrete blocks in the 1900 block of West Arlington Road. The business owner then called 911.
When police arrived they discovered the man was stiff and cold and alerted the Monroe County Coroner.
Police say the man was homeless and they found drug paraphernalia in his backpack. There were no signs the man had been assaulted or injured.
An autopsy was performed Thursday at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Authorities believe the man died “pharmacologic intoxication”. Toxicology results are pending.
