Brownsburg construction worker injured when a trench collapsed

Brownsburg, Indiana – According to Brownsburg Fire Territory, a trench collapsed on Friday afternoon, seriously injuring a construction worker.
The call for emergency personnel came soon after 3:45 p.m. Friday to a construction site located in the Hendricks County Road North 800 East 700 block. That is located immediately south of the Zander Road roundabout at East 100 North.
The guy was discovered by crews buried in dirt and rubble up to his neck. After removal, the employee was brought to a hospital. There were no further recorded injuries.
A social media post from the Brownsburg Fire Territory had no additional information regarding what might have caused the collapse or what kind of work was being done at the site.
