Covid-19 in Indiana, ISDH releases daily report for June 16th
Bloomington, Indiana – Indiana added 216 new confirmed Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours according the Indiana State Department of Health report. 12 people were reported dead as a result of the virus.
With the latest numbers, Indiana reached 750,170 positive cases since the start of the pandemic. The total number of reported Covid-19 deaths is now 13,343.
There is slight decrease in hospitalized people since Tuesday. Currently, there are 532 people in hospital.
A total of 5,443,967 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana. The number includes 2,739,547 first doses and 2,704,420 who are fully vaccinated.
The positivity rate in the last 7 days was 2.7%.
