Early morning gunfire on the west side leaves 2 women injured
Indianapolis, Indiana – On the west side, two women were hurt in an overnight shooting.
The 3500 block of Lafayette Road was the scene of an officer response, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
They discovered a woman who had been shot in the leg, and they later discovered that another woman had been grazed. Both were taken by civilians to a nearby hospital, where their conditions were stable.
The incident took place outside “The Pony,” an establishment for adult entertainment. At least five bullets were fired, according to IMPD.
The motive for the shooting is still being investigated, according to police, who are hunting for a person of interest.
