Eleven years after the disappearance of an Indiana woman, a family looks for answers

Indianapolis, Indiana – It has been over ten years since Jessica Masker was last seen or heard from.
After leaving her cousin’s house to walk to a gas station at Washington and Emerson on the east side of Indianapolis, Masker, then 24 years old, was reported missing on April 15, 2013.
Her boyfriend was supposed to give her a ride, but she never showed up.
In the vicinity of Masker’s last known whereabouts, her family spent the weekend putting up posters for missing individuals.
Christina Inabnit, Masker’s sister, stated, “We don’t know if she’s gone or if she’s out here and something bad happened to her.” “It’s challenging to figure out how to handle this and keep doing everything we do for her every year.”
According to family relatives, Masker was in an abusive relationship; her boyfriend had served time for assaulting her in the past. He informed the detectives that he was unaware of her whereabouts.
The youngest child Masker left behind was only two months old when she vanished.
Masker’s family is still collecting money to set up a reward fund in the hopes of receiving leads about the case. Anyone with information is encouraged to get in touch with Crime Stoppers or the IMPD Missing Persons Unit.
