Fatal stabbing in Columbus Tuesday morning, teenager arrested and faces murder charges
Columbus, Indiana – Tuesday morning stabbing was fatal for one person in apartment complex in Columbus authorities say.
The incident took place in the early morning hours around 6:10 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the Quail Run Apartments in the 1000 block of Robert Drive following a 911 call in regards of a stabbing.
When officers arrived at the scene they found the victim with stab wounds, suffering serious injuries. EMS took him to the hospital for treatment where he died shortly after.
The suspect was identified as Daniel J. Denny, 19-year-old teenager who was arrested and charged with murder charges.
The investigation is open.
