Woman who shot man from behind in Bloomington was arrested in Ohio, awaiting extradition
Bloomington, Indiana – Woman who shot a man from behind last month in Bloomington, was finally arrested in Columbia, Ohio and is awaiting extradition in Monroe County officials say.
According to police report, the woman later identified as 27-year-old Samantha Glenn shot 35-year-old man on May 21st in the 600 block of West 12th Street before noon. The man then said he was just staying at the scene when out of nowhere a woman approached him from behind, shot him and fled the scene.
The man suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
Bloomington police was able to provide a footage of the suspect as well as car plate number. On Monday they received information about the suspect from Columbus, Ohio police that they arrested the Glenn. She was located behind a church driving the same vehicle as used in the shooting.
Glenn was wanted on a warrant for charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness.
The woman awaits extradition in Monroe County.
