Finalization of the I-69 project is imminent
Indianapolis, Indiana – The I-69 project, which will connect Indianapolis and Evansville, is almost complete, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
According to a government report released on Tuesday, the project is still expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The project’s construction got underway in 2019.
When the I-69 and I-465 interchange opens to traffic in 2024, INDOT claims that Indianapolis and Marion County will be the primary focus.
INDOT notes that it is pleased with its timely completion of the project. The state spent roughly $2 billion on the project.
The precise completion date is yet unknown.
