Firefighters investigating apartment fire on Marian University campus

Indianapolis, Indiana – Marian University has experienced an apartment fire, according to Indianapolis Fire Department personnel on the scene.
At 7:47 in the morning, firefighters were called to 3200 Cold Spring Road due to a report of a fire. When the police came, the two-story building was heavily on fire and emitting smoke.
Officers started putting out the fire at 8:01 in the morning, and it was fully extinguished at 8:32.
On the site, two firefighters suffered injuries. One crew member suffered heat-related injuries, while the second firefighter was hurt as the ceiling started to collapse and knocked him to the ground.
As shown in the photos, the roof of the old building is now entirely burned.
