Fort Wayne police in search of person after attempted murder
Fort Wayne, Indiana – Following a late-morning shooting in a residential area south of downtown, Fort Wayne police on Friday announced they were looking for a “person of interest.”
Roddrick Gale, according to the police, was wanted about a shooting that took place near 3200 Clinton Court on Friday just before noon. That is located between East Pontiac Street and East Rudisell Boulevard, west of U.S. 27 traveling south.
Gale is being charged with aggravated violence and attempted murder. Online records also reveal that he was the subject of an October warrant issued by Allen Superior Court 5 over a battery offense.
The 37-year-old male from Fort Wayne was described as having a robust build and standing 6 feet 2 inches tall. There was a gray sweatshirt on him. The police said he’ll be walking.
Gale was urged to stay away from people and to dial 911 if they saw him.
