I-70 fatal collision blocks both directions of traffic lanes
Hendricks County, Indiana – According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, a tragic collision on I-70 eastbound has resulted in lane closures in both directions.
In Hendricks County, between Indiana State Road 39 and Center Street, south of Plainfield and north of Mooresville, the collision happened at around 12:05 p.m. Three semi trucks, two automobiles, and the collision.
There is only one verified fatality.
For the next two hours, all eastward traffic will be totally halted. Westbound traffic is flowing very slowly in one lane.
The accident reconstruction team from the State Police is en route to the area. Information will be added as it becomes available because this is a developing story.
