IMPD investigating shooting on northeast side of Indianapolis
Indianapolis, Indiana – A gunshot that occurred on the northeastern edge of Circle City is being looked into by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers from the IMPD responded to a report of a person shot at East 42nd Street and Devon Court East Drive on Saturday night, according to a media notification released that evening.
Police discovered a victim at the scene who had wounds that seemed to be from a gunshot.
There was no report on the individual’s condition from IMPD. IMPD reports that a night watch captain is on the way to the scene.
