Supervisor sexually attacked an employee in the Indiana University dining hall

Bloomington, Indiana – Indiana University has dismissed a janitor for allegedly getting a coworker intoxicated and then sexually abusing them.
The Indiana University Police Department in Bloomington reports that they received an allegation of sexual assault on October 17.
According to the report, the victim, a third-party outsourced janitorial services worker, said that on October 7, 2023, during their evening work shift, their supervisor at the hired company forced them to drink alcohol while they were at work and then fondled them. During the same shift at another job site, the suspect followed the victim into a bathroom and attacked them sexually. The suspect and the victim are not Indiana University workers.
The Indiana Memorial Union and a dorm dining hall were the locations of the purported incidents.
The janitor’s employment with IU has been terminated, and they are no longer able to work there.
