IMPD is investigating a stabbing and robbery on the near-east side

Indianapolis, Indiana – On Saturday night, police looked into a reported robbery and stabbing on Indianapolis’ near-east side.
Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were summoned to the junction of East Michigan Street and North Sherman Drive at approximately 8:15 p.m. on a robbery report, according to a public police record. According to the robbery report from the IMPD, authorities discovered a victim who had been stabbed at the location.
The stabbing victim’s condition has not yet been disclosed by the police.
The heist resulted in the theft of $5 in cash and synthetic marijuana, according to the IMPD. In its incident report, law enforcement did not specifically name any suspects.
The report described the suspect as male. If IMPD arrested any suspects or persons of interest while conducting its inquiry is unknown.
No further details regarding the robbery and stabbing had been released as of the time this report was published.
