Indianapolis collision on East Street claims the life of a motorcyclist
Indianapolis, Indiana – On Monday night on Indianapolis’ south side, a motorcycle was killed in a collision, according to the police.
The name and other details of the motorcycle rider were not immediately released by the police.
The collision occurred in the 4900 block of South East Street/U.S. 31 on Monday at around 6:55 p.m. That is near Thompson Road/State Road 135 in a business area.
An email from IMPD Officer William Young said, “Preliminary information suggests the motorcycle was southbound on East Street. At some point, the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a curve.”
Although investigators had not finished their work as of the time of Young’s email, which was issued around 9:20 p.m. Monday, it was thought that no additional vehicles were involved in the collision.
