Indianapolis Colts release information about the Colts Kickoff Concert on September 8
Indianapolis, Indiana – On September 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium, magician Criss Angel will perform with a band that includes musicians who have performed with R.E.M., Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Reba McEntire.
According to a press statement from the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay, the team’s owner and CEO, revealed on Thursday that the event will take place on September 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is situated at 500 S. Capitol Ave. in Indianapolis, from 4 to 11 p.m.
Despite being free and accessible to everybody, the event does require tickets. Both the Jim Irsay Collection website and the Colts website will allow reservations. The tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the press release.
“I am just a steward of the Horseshoe and this collection, so it’s my job to share them with the world and bring a little bit of joy into people’s lives, whether that’s on the football field, in the community or at events like the Colts Kickoff Concert,” Irsay said in the release. “This is our chance to say thank you to Colts fans and to give everyone a night of togetherness and great music. This is also our way of celebrating and giving back to the arts, which provide so much to us as a society and as human beings.”
The concert will be headlined by The Jim Irsay Band and include the musicians listed below in addition to some special guests who should be revealed soon:
• Kenny Aronoff, drums (has played with Paul McCartney, John Mellencamp, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan);
