Indianapolis diaper and wipes drive is being held to assist teen parents
Indianapolis, Indiana – This weekend, a diaper and wipes drive is being held by Pretty Passionate Hands, a local group, to support teen moms.
The purpose of the Saturday event is to deliver fifty boxes of diapers in different sizes and to raise money for charitable causes.
According to data from the National Diaper Bank Network, one in three households must buy diapers because of financial limitations.
Having experienced teen pregnancy firsthand, founder Paradise Bradford offered valuable perspectives on the organization’s goals and the influence of the campaign. 3421 N Park Ave is the address of the Diaper and Wipes Drive.
Contact Pretty Passionate Hands during office hours, which are Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, with extended hours on Wednesday and Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm, for further details and other future events.
Additionally, volunteers are needed for the organization’s second annual Christmas dinner in December. According to the founder, it’s a chance to significantly improve the lives of adolescent parents and their families.
The goods on the teen’s wish list will be given to them and their kids, so volunteers are asked to sponsor one.
