Two hurt, one killed in Johnson County collision
Indianapolis, Indiana – According to authorities, Johnson County deputies were called to a major injury car crash on Wednesday night
At 7:02 p.m., police were called to a crash in rural Greenwood that was occurring in the 700 block of North Five Points Road, which is half a mile south of County Line Road. Three injured people were located by deputies and firefighters, who removed them from their cars.
With severe injuries, all three patients were taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Sukhwinder Singh, 42, of Indianapolis, was one of the drivers; he was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where he passed away. Juan Gayton was identified as the driver of the second car. The cops did not give Gayton’s age.
The identity of the third person involved in the crash is unknown.
The cause of the collision is still being looked into, and as of Friday morning, the route was still closed. According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, there is no preliminary indication of drunkenness. They will provide an update when more information becomes available.
