Indianapolis Urban League hosting free Fall Career Fair
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Urban League will be hosting a free career fair that residents of Indianapolis are welcome to attend.
The Indianapolis Urban League was established as a non-profit, non-partisan, multiracial community-based social service/civil rights organization in the fall of 1965, according to their website. The National Urban League has more than 90 affiliates, including the local one.
At the yearly Fall Career Fair on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 777 Indiana Avenue, attendees can network with hiring companies. In addition, there will be free parking and lunch for attendees.
The organizers advise guests to prepare ahead of time by studying participating companies, bring copies of their CV to the fair, and dress properly in order to land a new job.
