IndyGo raises more than $105K from 2nd annual golf outing

Indianapolis, Indiana — The IndyGo Foundation’s second annual golf outing at Eagle Creek Golf Course brought in more than $105,000.
The amount exceeds the $75,000 target set by the foundation.
The event’s proceeds, according to a press release, will support the foundation’s initiatives to improve access to public transportation. Nearly 200 golfers signed up for the tournament, and 65 businesses supported it by playing on teams, providing sponsorships, or making donations.
“We are touched by the outpouring of support for this year’s event and are grateful to everyone who participated,” said Emily Meaux, executive director of the IndyGo Foundation, in a statement. “The amount raised this year reflects the growing importance of our mission and will allow us to further invest in moving Indianapolis forward as we help increase mobility for all.”
