Lane closures on SR 37/Harding Street at I-465

Indianapolis, Indiana – On the south side of the city, lane restrictions at State Road 37/Harding Street and I-465 started on Monday.
As part of the I-69 Finish Line project, which will see the final portion of I-69 constructed and connected to I-465, workers will spend the following month installing underground waterlines in the area.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the right lanes of northbound Harding Street between the I-465 westbound ramps and the Pilot Travel Center will be blocked at all times through early November.
Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 a.m., northbound State Road 37/Harding Street and the I-465 exit ramps will see extra lane closures, according to INDOT.
North of Thompson Road, motorists should slow down, be on the lookout for orange barrels, and prepare for delays. According to INDOT, one of the center lanes approaching the work zone may be closed.
Harding Court, a nearby access road, will also have a minor portion of its daily traffic reduced to one lane until early November. Traffic in the vicinity will be governed by temporary traffic signals.
