Man killed by gunshot on near southeast side of Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana – A guy was shot and murdered on Sunday night on Indianapolis’ near southeast side; police are looking into the incident.
Just before 11 p.m., officers were called to the 2700 block of Barrington Avenue in response to a report of a person shot, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. An adult male with a gunshot wound was found lying on the street by the responding officers.
The victim passed away right there.
The victim’s or any possible suspect’s identification has not been made public by the IMPD.
