Man shot during what appeared to be an attempted carjacking
Indianapolis, Indiana – On Wednesday night, a guy was shot during an attempted carjacking on the west side and is now in the hospital.
Just before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, police were summoned to the 4700 block of West 34th St. They found a male adult who had been shot when they got there. In stable condition, he was taken to a hospital.
The man was thought to have been shot after an attempted carjacking, according to IMPD Captain John Arvin. Although the precise location of the gunshot remained unknown, it was thought to be somewhat near to the victim’s location.
The suspects are described by IMPD as two men in a black Acura. The vehicle had an Apple sticker, a sheriff supporter license plate, and “dark out” or tinted windows.
In an effort to find any surveillance footage that might have shown the crime, police are contacting local businesses.
