Motorcycle accident results with Bedford man dead, wife seriously injured
Bloomington, Indiana – Vehicle-motorcycle accident resulted with one dead and one seriously injured on Saturday.
According to reports, the accident took place at the intersection of State Road 164 and Dillard Road in Crawford County around 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of the motorcycle identified as Michael Parker died as a result of the crash. His wife, Charity Parker, who was a passenger on the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and is in hospital for treatment. They were traveling West on State Road 164.
The other vehicle, Chevy Cavalier, was traveling east on State Road 164 prior to turning North onto Dillard Road.
The driver of the car said he didn’t see the motorcycle coming before he made the turn. Unfortunately, both the vehicle and the motorcycle crashed and were heavily damaged.
Two people were in the car at the time of the accident. One of them suffered minor injuries.
There is ongoing investigation about the accident.
