Nevada man detained after an ISP traffic stop on the I-65 uncovers 2 kg of cocaine

Jackson County, Indiana – After a traffic check on I-65, state troopers discovered cocaine and cash, leading to the Tuesday arrest of a Nevada man.
Around 2:30 pm, a trooper stopped a Honda CR-V on I-65 South in Jackson County close to the U.S. 50/Seymour exit. When a K-9 was brought in, it picked up the smell of illegal substances coming from the car.
ISP searched the SUV and discovered two kilograms (4.4 pounds) of cocaine and $8,000 in US money. The cocaine was thought to be worth $50,000 on the black market.
Jhonatan S. Carrillo, 27, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was detained by police.
On top of operating without ever receiving a legal driver’s license, he was also charged with cocaine distribution and possession. He was put into jail on these preliminary allegations.
