New 146th Street and Allisonville Road traffic limits

Fishers, Indiana -Hamilton County drivers will now be subject to new limitations due to a new phase of work at 146th Street and Allisonville Road.
According to the Hamilton County Highway Department, turning left from 146th Street into Allisonville Road is no longer possible as of Thursday, when Phase 2A officially began.
On 146th Street, workers will simultaneously reopen one eastbound lane and one westbound lane.
Phase 2A, which is anticipated to last through the end of October, will result in the closure of Sowers Drive, Wellington Court, and Kensington Drive.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes whenever feasible because delays are to be expected, particularly during the morning and afternoon rush hours.
A “zipper merge” is recommended by the county transportation department while merging at 146th Street and Allisonville Rad.
The overpass-and-interchange project is anticipated to be finished in 2025.
