Normal man facing murder charges enters not guilty plea
BLOOMINGTON – A Normal man accused of stabbing another man to death in Bloomington in April entered a not guilty plea Friday.
Larry Knell, 44, is facing facing three murder charges in the death of 59-year-old Dale Baughman.
Authorities say Baughman, of Normal, was found dead lying in the roadway in the 600 block of West Seminary Street about in the early morning hours of April 9. He was stabbed multiple times, according to police.
Knell, according to the McLean County Circuit Clerk’s Office, remains in custody and has not posted bail.
Knell is next due in court for on June 28 for a status hearing.
