Official partnership between Colts and Ascension St. Vincent
Indianapolis, Indiana – Ascension St. Vincent and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital have entered into a new, long-term agreement to become the Indianapolis Colts’ official healthcare partner and children’s hospital.
A news statement states that the primary objective of this collaboration is to maintain the health and the care of medical professionals of all ages of Colts fans. But Ascension St. Vincent also stated that they hope to raise awareness about wellness in general and reach more people than they have in the past.
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital announced that they will select two young children to be the “Kick-Off Kid” and the “Coin Toss Kid” for each home game. Additionally, the story of each of these children will be included in Scout, the Colts gameday program.
On the subject, representatives from the Colts and Ascension St. Vincent both gave speeches.
Ascension St. Vincent’s CEO and Senior Vice President Kevin Speer, JD, stated, “Ascension St.
Vincent and our world-champion Indianapolis Colts share the same values of service to our community, especially for those who are most in need.” “Working with the Colts to launch this strong relationship in the spirit of service to our neighbors, our communities, and our shared fans excites us.”
The owner and CEO of the Colts, Jim Irsay, reiterated these ideas. “We’re excited to collaborate in the upcoming years to promote health and wellness in our neighborhoods and assist in enhancing health outcomes for our friends, supporters, and neighbors throughout Indiana,” he stated. “What makes this even more special is that we’ll have another chance to work with Peyton Manning and give hope to countless children.”
