One shot dead in the east side apartment building off 38th Street

Indianapolis, Indiana – According to police from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a fatal shooting occurred at an east-side apartment complex on Sunday morning, killing one person.
The person’s age or name has not yet been made public.
Officers were called to the 10100 block of John Marshall Drive North at approximately 11:15 a.m. in response to a report of a shooting victim. That’s in the Amber Woods apartment building, which is located close to East 38th Street on North Mitthoeffer Road.
An individual with a gunshot wound was discovered by the responding officers. They passed away after being brought to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Information about the shooting is still being gathered by investigators. Not a single suspect’s details have been made public yet.
