Powerball tickets worth $100k, $50k sold in Indiana

Indianapolis, Indiana – Officials from the Hoosier Lottery are advising people in Indiana to thoroughly inspect their Powerball tickets.
Prior to Monday’s drawing, two winning tickets were bought in the Hoosier State. Their respective values are $50,000 and $100,000.
The $100,000 ticket was sold at Thornton’s store in Terre Haute, which is situated at 2330 S. 3rd St. With a Power Play of two times, it matched four of the five numbers as well as the Powerball.
The $50,000 ticket was bought at Franklin Casey’s, which is situated at 3048 N. Morton St. It did not hit on any multipliers, but it did match four of the five numbers and the Powerball.
With a Powerball of 5, the winning Powerball numbers for Monday were 12-26-27-43-47. Players can use the free Hoosier Lottery Mobile App to check their tickets.
Officials from the Hoosier Lottery advise all winners to make sure their tickets are kept in secure locations, think about consulting with financial counselors, and contact customer support at 1-800-955-6886.
It is anticipated that the Powerball jackpot will reach $1.2 billion prior to Wednesday’s drawing. Indiana leads the country in Powerball jackpot wins with 39, according to Hoosier Lottery.
