Public Meeting on the Second Building Trades Park Master Plan is on December 7
Bloomington, Indiana – The public is invited to the second meeting of the Building Trades Park Master Plan, which Parks and Recreation is hosting on December 7 at 7 p.m. in the Hooker Conference Room at City Hall, located at 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington.
The outcomes of the public comments received at and following the initial public hearing on September 28 will be presented by Mader Design, a landscape architecture firm located in Beech Grove, Indiana. In addition, the firm will provide revised park design plans and findings from its historical research on Building Trades Park.
619 W. Howe St., Building Trades Park, is situated just north of the location of the former IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
The public is invited to participate in the Master Plan public input meeting in person or remotely through Zoom. To participate virtually, visit the Building Trades Park website after 3 p.m. on December 7 to receive a Zoom link.
Links to an online comment form will be posted on the Building Trades Park website after the public input meeting on December 7th, to get further feedback on the research and revised plans.
