“Serious bodily injury” crash on Indianapolis’ northeast side is being investigated by the IMPD and LPD

Indianapolis, Indiana – There was a collision on the northeast side of Indianapolis, and the police are looking into it.

A representative for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has verified that a collision that occurred near the junction of East 43rd Street and North Shadeland Avenue resulted in one or more individuals suffering “serious bodily injuries.” At approximately 3:32 p.m. on Saturday, law enforcement was dispatched to the particular location, according to public police reporting systems.

It was not disclosed by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) how many persons were hurt in the collision. There has been no report from the police regarding the cause of the collision.

On the other hand, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) has confirmed that the investigation into the incident is a collaborative effort between its officers and the Lawrence Police Department.
