Bicycle-riding boy seriously hurt in hit-and-run

Indianapolis, Indiana – In a hit-and-run on Thursday night in a residential area on the far east side of the city, a child on a bicycle suffered critical injuries, according to police.
It was stated that the youngster was in “very critical condition.” Additional details on the youngster were not immediately made public by the police.
Just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, the 1100 block of North Cumberland Road pedestrian was hit in a hit-and-run incident resulting in a kid’s cardiac arrest prompting the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and ambulance to respond. That is situated roughly 0.5 miles east of the intersection of North German Church Road and East 10th Street.
According to IMPD, the child was struck by a car while riding a bicycle without any lights. When the automobile struck him and hurled the youngster 50 feet, he was riding with some other lads.
