Sun defeated the Indiana Fever 88–72 thanks to six players scoring in double figures

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Connecticut Sun defeated the Indiana Fever 88-72 on Friday night because to Tiffany Hayes’ 18 points, DeWanna Bonner’s 14, and their combined efforts.
First half was dominated by Connecticut. In the first quarter, the Sun scored 13 straight points to grab a 20-10 lead. In the first quarter, Connecticut scored 31 points, while the Fever scored 22, including 26 points from Bonner, Hayes, and Natisha Hiedeman combined.
By halftime, the Sun had a 56-33 advantage after shooting 66% from the floor, including 7 of 13 3-point attempts. In the opening period, Bonner scored 11 points, and Hiedeman added 10.
After Indiana closed the gap to 65-54, the Sun scored the final nine points of the third quarter before cruising in the fourth.
For Connecticut (20-7), Alyssa Thomas scored 11 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists after two straight games with a triple-double. Olivia Nelson-Ododa had 10 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists in addition to DiJonai Carrington’s 11 total points.
For the Fever (7-20), Aliyah Boston had 19 points and 8 rebounds. Erica Wheeler scored 12, Kelsey Mitchell added 13 points, and Emma Cannon added 11.
