Woman killed in Jefferson County two-car collision

Madison, Indiana – According to authorities, a woman died in a two-vehicle collision with a fire truck early on Saturday morning near Madison, Indiana.
Around 8:30 on Saturday morning, Charles Justice, 69, the driver of a 2005 International fire truck from the Hanover Fire Department, came to the scene to help clear hardened mud from the road. This information comes from Indiana State Police.
According to police, the truck struck a 2015 Rav4 head-on while traveling east on Clify Hollow Road in the westbound lanes. Terrie Cox, the 44-year-old Milton, Kentucky, driver of the second car, passed away at the scene, according to the police.
The inquiry is being handled by the Indiana State Police. Although it is not believed that alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision, toxicology tests are still waiting.
