Take a look at the Indiana State Fairgrounds’ new track and field facility

Indianapolis, Indiana – The new indoor track and field center at the Indiana State Fairgrounds was officially opened on Friday.
The 200-meter banked turn track is located inside Fall Creek Pavilion, which was recently renovated. That is the structure where the swine show is held each year during the fair.
The track will reportedly be set up every year to accommodate regional, national, and international events, according to the organizers.
The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships in 2025 will take place in the facility in March of that year.
The competition oval features six lanes, a 21-meter radius, 12-degree banking in the turns, and an elevation of 18 inches in the straightaways and nearly 6 feet in the turns, according to a news release from the fairgrounds. The infield features two high jump sections, two long jump/triple jump runways, a pole vault runway, and an eight-lane flat track for sprinters and hurdlers.
The USA Track and Field Combined Events Indoor Championships on January 27–28, the Marian Invitational on February 9, the Butler Invitational on January 20 and the IUPUI Invitational on January 26–27 will all be held at the track.
