Semi with fabric softener rolls over
Edinburg, Indiana – According to information released by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office on Friday afternoon, the driver of a semitractor trailer was hurt in the head when the truck overturned on Thursday night.
For several hours, a northbound lane of I-65 was closed to facilitate the unloading of 40,000 pounds of fabric softener from the semi. According to a news statement from the sheriff’s office, the laundry products did not leak into the median.
The collision occurred on Thursday night about 7:20 p.m. close to the U.S. 31 intersection, which is most recognized as the I-65 exit for the Indiana Premium Outlets shopping center.
The driver of the semi needed medical attention. The sheriff’s office release did not provide the driver’s name.
