Teenager stabbed and injured early Saturday morning at a party
Bloomington, Indiana – A problem that occurred during a large party in the 400 block of N Dunn Street resulted in a stabbing incident early Saturday morning, multiple sources reported.
According to the report provided by the police, officers were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call, and several officers arrived around 12:30 a.m. at the address. A 19-year-old man was stabbed and injured, and he immediately received treatment.
Witnesses informed the responding officers that several people who attended the party were causing problems, and they were kicked out. Just when they got out of the property, one of them returned with a knife in his hand and tried to get forcefully inside.
A person who was standing next to the entrance pushed and held the door in an effort to prevent the suspect from re-entering. However, several more people started to kick and push the door from the outside, eventually breaking it.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover soon.
Authorities didn’t provide additional details, but said that there is an ongoing investigation. No more information about the suspect was given.
