The Braun transition team releases the inaugural celebration itinerary

Indianapolis, Indiana – The transition team for Governor-elect Mike Braun has revealed the plans for his inauguration celebrations in the early months of next year.

Braun’s inauguration ceremony is scheduled for January 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Hilbert Circle Theatre, 45 Monument Circle, according to a press release. The free event will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Earlier this month, Braun defeated Libertarian candidate Donald Rainwater and Democratic candidate Jennifer McCormick, who was the state’s former superintendent of public instruction, to become Indiana’s 52nd governor.

Todd Rokita, the state’s Republican attorney general, and Micah Beckwith, the state’s Republican lieutenant governor-elect, will also be sworn in during the ceremony.

In a post about the ceremony, Beckwith stated, “This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the future of Indiana and the leaders who will champion our state’s values and vision.”

A timetable of additional celebrations for the new gubernatorial ticket was also presented by inauguration team officials. Those occasions consist of:

• Reception and gala on Jan. 11, 2025, a ticketed event
• Mass at 10 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2025 at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral, at 1347 N Meridian St.
• Hoosier Heritage Family Day on Jan. 12, 2025 at the Indiana State Museum, located at 650 W Washington St.
• First Lady’s Breakfast honoring Indiana’s female entrepreneurs at 9 a.m. on Jan. 13, 2025, a ticketed event
