The Franklin Police Department is looking into a shooting that injured two persons
Franklin, Indiana – Two individuals were hurt in a shooting on Saturday afternoon, and the Franklin Police Department is looking into the incident.
According to Franklin Police Chief Kirby Cochran, at 1:48 p.m., his officers were sent to the Branigan Woods subdivision’s 1200 block of North Aberdeen Drive to look into a gunshot.
Detectives of the FPD have established that two adults appeared to have been shot. The victims, a man and a woman who were both estimated to be in their 30s or 35s were taken to nearby hospitals to receive medical attention.
According to Cochran, the FPD is unsure if the victims’ injuries are potentially fatal.
According to police, there is no continuous threat to the public from this incident. According to the FPD, investigators do not believe that any shooters or bystanders were involved in the incident they have not yet been able to account for them.
The shooting is still being looked into by law authorities. As officers learn more about the event, Cochran said that further details would be made public.
