The Lafayette Square Mall property is presently undergoing renovation plans

Indianapolis, Indiana – For a section of the Lafayette Square Mall site on Indianapolis’ northwest side, it’s back to the drawing board.
The task was supposed to be completed already. The task is bigger than anticipated, and it will take more time, the developers have recently stated.
Although developers recently stated that all of the construction has been put on hold, the transformation of the mall into Window to The World is still under progress. The official opening was scheduled for last April, but that date passed without being met.
Townhouses, apartments, and a boutique hotel are still on the agenda, according to Sojo’s Capital.
“Anything that comes to this area that is going to improve the area and takes on the flavor of an international aspect we’re excited about it,” said Mary G. Clark.
Clark is International Marketplace’s executive director. According to her, this region on the northwest side is a gem in the rough.
“It was one of the top retail districts in Indiana called the Lafayette Square area,” Clark said. “In the mid-2000s, we started to see a changeover.”
