Just after 11 a.m., members of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a complaint of gunfire near the 3500 Moller Road area. That’s in the neighborhood to the south of 38th Street. When the police arrived, they found two shooting victims.
A mile or so west of Moller Road, in the 6400 block of Lupine Terrace, there was a report of gunfire, to which police also responded. A third person with a graze wound was found by the officers.
Although it hasn’t been verified, officers think the two occurrences are connected.
