Traffic stop in Lawrence County results in drug-related arrests
Indianapolis, Indiana – Two persons who were allegedly transporting drugs were taken into custody following a traffic check in Lawrence County on Wednesday, according to Indiana State Police.
The stop was started at the northern boundary of Lawrence County by a state policeman. The trooper recognized Amber Eads, 41, of Bedford as the passenger and Jacob Bunch, 39, of Bedford as the driver.
The trooper had discovered that Eads possessed cash, methamphetamine, and controlled narcotics. According to authorities, the trooper requested and was given a search warrant for a house on Indian Creek Road after the traffic stop.
Inside the house, police found marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, and methamphetamines.
Bunch and Eads were taken into custody and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
Bunch is preliminarily charged with:
• Dealing methamphetamine.
• Possession of methamphetamine.
• Dealing a controlled Substance.
• Possession of a Controlled Substance.
• Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
• Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon.
• Possession of Marijuana.
• Possession of Paraphernalia.
• Driving While Suspend-Prior.
Eads is preliminarily charged with:
• Dealing methamphetamine.
• Possession of methamphetamine.
• Dealing a controlled substance.
• Possession of a controlled substance.
• Maintaining a common nuisance.
• Possession of marijuana.
• Possession of paraphernalia.
