Unintentionally shot child in severe condition in Indianapolis
Indianapolis, Indiana – According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, an investigation is underway after a child was shot on the city’s far east side. The incident prompted the police to launch an investigation.
Sunday about 1 p.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were sent to the 10000 block of John Jay Drive after receiving a report of a person who had been shot there. Upon arrival, they discovered one child suffering from injuries that appeared to have been caused by a gunshot.
It has been reported that the incident was both accidental and self-inflicted. The child was in critical condition when they arrived at the hospital to check on them.
