Westfield, Indiana – In 2025, LIV Golf plans to move to the Indianapolis region.

The city of Westfield and LIV Golf have an agreement in place to bring the renowned tournament to the city, according to sources who spoke to Sports Director Anthony Calhoun.

On the weekend of August 15–17, 2025, the LIV Golf event will take place at the esteemed course at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield. This will be the first time LIV Golf has visited Indiana.

It is anticipated that 75,000 spectators will attend the three-day competition in central Indiana.
The city of Westfield and the Indianapolis region will benefit economically from the event to the tune of around $30 million.

The competition will be the final for individual champions. The winner of a tournament often receives $4 million in prize money.

Several major champions from the previous three years will be among the many talented players that LIV Golf will welcome to the Indianapolis area. Bryson DeChambeau of LIV Golf won the US Open at Pinehurst, one of the majors this year. In 2023, Brooks Koepka won the PGA Championship, and Jon Rahm of LIV Golf won The Masters. The Open at St. Andrews was won by Cameron Smith.

Dustin Johnson (2020), Patrick Reed (2018), Sergio Garcia (2017), Bubba Watson (2012 and 2014), Charl Schwartzel (2011), and Phil Mickelson (2004, 2006, and 2010) are among the other Masters champions on the LIV Golf Tour.

In 2024, Jon Rahm emerged victorious in the LIV Golf individual championship. Sergio Garcia and Joaquin Niemann completed the top three.

This year’s U.S. locations for the LIV Golf tournaments were Las Vegas, Miami, Houston, Nashville, Greenbrier, Chicago, and Dallas.

According to sources, the celebration will conclude the weekend with live entertainment. Artists including Dan + Shay, Macklemore, Martin Gerrix, and Bailey Zimmerman have performed at Liv Golf events this year. Nelly and the Zac Brown Band have also played at LIV Golf events in previous years.

The PGA Indiana Open in 2022 and the NCAA women’s golf regional in 2023 were both held in Chatham Hills. The MAC Championships were held there most recently in 2024.

Pete Dye created the architectural design for the Club at Chatham Hills course. It was the final one that Dye created and built on location.

Brickyard Crossing in Indianapolis and Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel are two more golf courses that Dye built in the Indianapolis area. He is among the most well-known golf course designers of the past half-century.
