$6 Burger week in Indianapolis is back again, June 21-27
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis $6 burger week is going to take place in June this year after being cancelled last year due to Covid-19. The event will take place June 21-27.
Restaurants and burger place that already confirmed their participation are the following: Barbecue & Bourbon on Main; Brother’s Bar & Grill – Broad Ripple; Brother’s Bar & Grill – Downtown, Drake’s; Ellison Brewing; Oasis Diner; LouVino – Fishers; LouVino – Mass Ave.; HopCat; and The Block Bistro and Grill
This year’s event as usual is hosted by Cleveland-based company, Euclid Media Group, company that owns alternative weeklies in Cincinnati, Detroit, Orlando and other cities. Their event program requires local restaurants to offer a couple of their burgers at discounted price. This should bring more orders to restaurant and boost sales of side drinks and additional items that go with the burgers.
Tried & True was among was among the others to take place in the event, but had to unfortunately cancel their participation due to high operating cost and workers shortage.
The last year’s event was scheduled for August 2020, but was later canceled since many restaurants complained they can’t sell burgers at $6 because of the pandemic.
The event took place last year as planned in all other cities except Indianapolis. the hosts said it was one very successful event and they look forward for even better results this year.
