84 Lumber looking to hire, 15 job positions available in Indianapolis, Greenwood and Franklin
Greenwood, Indiana – 84 Lumber will host a hiring event on Tuesday in Greenwood as the company has more than 15 job openings.
According to the company announcement, the hiring event will take on Tuesday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. at 484 East Worthsville Road in Greenwood. 84 Lumber said they have more than 15 job positions available in Indianapolis, Greenwood and Franklin.
The company added they have multiple positions available including warehouse associate, truss production associate, truck driver and manager trainee positions. Those who will attend the event and who will apply-in-person, might be offered a job right away.
“We’re growing along with the growth in the construction industry — here in the Indianapolis region and across the nation. We’re looking for people seeking a fresh start,” said Phil Garuccio, divisional vice president at 84 Lumber.
Based on experience, production associates can expect $13.50-$14.50 an hour salary, non-CDL truck drivers and warehouse associates can receive up to $14 an hour, while manager trainees can expect $40.000 a year.
The company reminded the attendees to wear face masks and practice social distancing if they are not vaccinated.
