After escaping capture, a registered sexual offender is sought in Grant County
Gas City, Indiana – A registered sexual offender escaped from Grant County deputies on Wednesday afternoon as they were attempting to serve him with an arrest warrant, and he is currently at large.
At 2:14 p.m., deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant in the 500 block of East South G Street, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
According to officials, the suspect ran away on foot and is thought to be hiding in the Marion, Gas City region.
The suspect, 35-year-old Brayton Mathew Tedder, was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 125 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. His neck is only one of the many places he has tattoos.
Tedder is facing numerous criminal accusations and is a registered sexual offender.
