Athenaeum local sellers get ready for the final weekend of Christkindlmarkt
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Christkindlmarkt at the Athenaeum offers a festive look at German culture.
“At our inaugural Athenaeum Christkindlmarkt, you’ll find the traditional festival elements of music, warm raclettes, gluhwein, and plenty of platzchen to go around,” Craig Mince, the president of The Athenaeum Foundation, said. “It’s all happening in our historic Biergarten.”
Local artisans, German-inspired food, drinks, and entertainment are the main highlights of the celebrations.
Entry is free, but there are fees if you buy something from a vendor. The Block 20 Garage, which is situated next to the Athenaeum, offers parking.
The Christkindlmarkt will only be open this weekend.
