Indianapolis, Indiana – On Monday, the Bottleworks District hopes to assist with holiday shopping.

The Garage Food Hall will be packed with dozens of neighborhood merchants during the district’s holiday market, which runs from 4 to 9 p.m.

The Garage wants to capitalize on some last-minute customers while supporting neighborhood businesses, according to manager Cathrine Haynes.

“I love it because I always find a new small business from Indy to support,” Haynes said. “Just finding my next new small business to support has been fun.”

During the market, a few of the Garage’s physical tenants are providing exclusive offers.

The women’s clothing store Wild Feathers is giving away a gift with every $50 purchase.

The people she enjoys spending time with are what make the holidays a fantastic time for business, according to Drew Davila, owner of Wild Feathers.

“I love just being able to help people,” Davila said. “Help them pick that perfect gift for somebody. It’s just a special kind of job that I’m able to do. You can see everyone’s face light up.”

The Garage’s Pumkinfish gift shop is preparing for a rush of last-minute purchases.

Candles, bar supplies, and other trinkets are among the most popular goods this time of year, according to owner Will Acton.

“It’s been really great for us,” Acton said. “We’ve had a really big turnout … We have everything Taylor Swift, which has been absolutely huge this year, and Dolly Parton.”

Throughout the event, a number of the Food Hall’s eateries and bars will be offering discounts. For those who want to shop and sip, Great Legs wine bar has a Winter Aperol Spritz on deck; in the meantime, Axle’s Garage Tap is having a special on Christmas Ale.

The holiday shopping guide for the Bottleworks District has a comprehensive list of discounts and offers.

While the market is open, shoppers may also enjoy live DJ entertainment.
